Overview

If your student will be absent from school, please notify the appropriate school office as early as possible on the day of the absence.

Reporting an Absence

Parents and guardians can report an absence by:

  1. Calling the school attendance line
  2. Sending an email to the school's attendance office
  3. Submitting an absence notification through the family portal

Please include:

  • Student's full name
  • Grade level
  • Date(s) of absence
  • Reason for absence
  • Parent/guardian contact information

Excused vs. Unexcused Absences

Examples of excused absences may include:

  • Illness
  • Medical appointments
  • Religious observances
  • Family emergencies

Documentation may be required for extended absences.
